I began tying
flies professionally for Poulson’s Flies in the
Portland area at the tender age of thirteen, having already traipsed
the rocky waterline of every small stream rolling and bubbling off the
slopes of Mt. Hood. Fly angling has been a passion for five decades of
my life. A retired educator, I now spend more time on waters of choice,
fly rod or oars in hand. I continue to find special joy in helping
others discover and experience all the beautiful state of Oregon has to
off the fly-fisher.
